Opposition against Rangiora Racecourse quarry continues to mount
Opposition to a proposed quarry at Rangiora Racecourse is mounting, with an almost 5000-strong petition delivered to the Waimakariri District Council last week.
Tracey Dimmock-Rump started an online petition after hearing Taggart Earthmoving Ltd planned to excavate at the site.
The petition will be formally received at the Waimakariri District Council’s October meeting, and the residents have been invited to speak. Read more here.
