Flatbed turntable thingy [Update - taken]
This started life as the baseplate for an IBM 1621 paper tape reader for a 1960s IBM 1620 computer. The sprung buffer arms and rollers ensure the paper tape was under a constant gentle tension. I added the brass/aluminium platters to handle 16mm film and magnetic film, although I never finished the magnetic recorder I had in mind. The platters run on 1/2" shafts and good quality bearings. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
