What do you think of Tawa's brand new look?
The suburb has had a re-branding thanks to the Tawa Residents' Association, The Tawa Community Board and the Tawa Business Group.
Does a suburb even need a brand identity?

We would like to thank our Treasury Tracey Reid, our auditor Jonathan of Aurora Financials, our donors who donate to us financially and provide us with their unwanted good quality items, our volunteers who take the photos of the donations. This information is put into our report sent to the Dept of Internal Affairs annually.
KCA is really a Tier 4 (under $125,000) income per annum but as our accounts are done accrual basis we are classifed as Tier 3.
With a total expenditure of $79,795 as of the 31st March 2017 our biggest expense is our warehousing costs, followed by food.
We are approaching our 6th birthday at the end of November.
Thank you to everyone past and present whose generosity has made our charity a success. We have already assisted over 30,000 people so far this financial year.

We found out that some participants have some pretty wacky costume ideas like; ‘Donald Trump', ‘an inflatable flamingo’ a ‘popcorn vendor’ and ‘grumpy grannies’. Comment below with what you'll be dressing up as this year!

Introducing the new Tawa!
A brand identity has been on the radar for a wee while now, but over the last few months there has been a lot of effort go into it.
This has been a joint effort between the Tawa Residents' Association, The Tawa Community Board and the Tawa Business Group.
We engaged local designers to provide concepts, and this was the one chosen. It is bright, dynamic, inclusive, strong yet simple. It includes the Tawa colours, it can be used in various formats, and you will see it popping up around Tawa.
Thanks so much to Dieter Fourie of DigitalTree for designing this and to Lynell Tuffery Huria from AJ Park for getting it registered for us this week!!
We are really proud of what we've come up with and super excited to use it!
Anita from Tawa
