On The Lookout For A Car.

Mark from Paraparaumu Beach

My 19 year old granddaughter is on the lookout for a car 🚗

Unfortunately she was involved in an accident yesterday, and her Suzuki Swift was written off 😟
No injuries thankfully.

She is living up here until varsity restarts back in Wellington, then will be moving back into town.

The problem is she has a job in Karori, and drives to work .... bit awkward not actually having a car 😬

So .... shes looking for a "new" set of wheels to make life so much easier for her.

Open minded re makes etc, but has a budget of around $2000 ... and needs to be an automatic 🙄

Her dad is a mechanic so will be able to run a ready eye 👁 over it for her

Thank you in anticipation 🙏

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
