I am a great dog who loves to have cuddles, I love to have humans around me. Due to my young age I would be better for me to go to a home that has no young children. I can be a little shy with new people and then I am a bouncy bean. I would be fine for me to go to a home with teenagers.
So far I had a little bit of training, I am a bit uncoordinated and jumpy. With training, we both need to start from scratch. I am very willing to learn. You will see me blossom from an uncoordinated boy to a very well trained dog that will stick by your side. I need to be introduced to the world slowly as it can be a little overwhelmingly for me. I am great with other dogs at the centre and love to play. A home with a slightly older dog would mix well with me, so they can show me the ropes on how to be the best dog. Common pheasant/ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) - a very brief surprise encounter yesterday on the path beside the Waimanu Lagoon in Waikanae. Bird #72 in 2022."

Mute swan (Cygnus olor) at Henley Lake in Masterton - nobody has written a poem about this guy. Interesting aside - I read "Stop all the Clocks" at my father's funeral many years ago, it is still one of my favourites. Knowledge of swans aside, Auden was a genius. Bird #78 in 2022."
