Anyone who has ever ridden a mountain bike knows about the Bluebridge Karapoti Classic. Established in 1986, Karapoti is New Zealand’s longest running mountain bike event and a must-do for every mountain biker.

Based in Wellington's spectacular Akatarawa Ranges, 10k north of Upper Hutt, this old-school adventure ride has an achievable challenge for all ages and abilities.

Try the traditional 50k Classic, or for an intro to the Karapoti experience there is the 20k Challenge. Or challenge your children to tackle the Kids' 5k Klassic.
