Yet another NASTY scam going around😡😡
And so it begins (or continues)!
Just to let you know these phone calls are currently going round.
"Good morning, according to our system, you are likely to have been in close proximity to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. This means that you now need to self-isolate for 7 days and take a COVID-19 test."
"OK. Can you tell me who that person was?"
"I'm not able to tell you that. That is confidential information."
"Right. Um... so ...."
"But you do need to be tested within the next 72 hours. So can I just get the best mailing address so that we can send a kit to you?"
"Ok (gives address)"
"Thank you - and I just need to take a payment card so that we can finalize this and send the kit to you."
"Sorry - a payment card? I thought this was all free?"
"No - I'm afraid not. There is a one-off fee of $50 for the kit and test results. Could you read off the long card number for me, please, when you're ready."
"No - that's not right."
"I'm afraid it is. Can you give me the card number please - this is very important, and there are penalties for not complying."
Puts the phone down.
This is how scammers work and vulnerable people will fall for it.
PLEASE BE AWARE AND WARN OTHERS - LET'S STOP THESE VILE PEOPLE FROM DOING THIS!!!!
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Chrstmas light show
Hi everyone.
I have put my Xmas lights up and am currently doing the final testing.
This is an animated show set to music, so drive by viewing is not the best.
There are speakers out so you will be able to hear the music that goes with the lights.
As last year, I will have my shows running from 1st of December until 31st of Dec inclusive.
As I have neighbours, Please respect them and their properties.
Show times will be,
Sunday to Thursday 9pm to 10pm.
Friday and Saturday 9pm to 10:30pm.
