Rainbow Ski season pass sales suspended, season in limbo
Due to staffing, Rainbow Ski Area will need to make a decision on the whether the season will go ahead by around June, the general manager says.
The Covid-19 outbreak meant the ski field had frozen the sale of their season passes, in case the not for profit club were unable to provide a refund, should the ski field not open.
Rainbow Ski Area general manager James Lazor said the goal was for the field to open on July 3.
"That all depends on the government and their decision on the alert level, but in June we would need to start making a decision on staff," Lazor said.
