Come and enjoy Historic Kōpū Bridge
Historic Kōpū Bridge will be open every day from 10am to 3pm until 13th March as over 700 riders in the Tour Aotearoa 2020 Cycling Challenge pass through on their 3,000km journey from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Cyclists and walkers, whether locals or visitors from around the country and overseas are making the most of this opportunity to spend some time on the old bridge, take photos, watch the birds and ‘remember when…’ this was the main road to and from Turua, Ngatea, the Plains and Auckland. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
