Every family has a story about how they came to be where they are today. Did you, your parents, grandparents, or ancestors move from one country to another? Be inspired. Join us for the 5 weekly 2.5-hour local series of Write Your Story community workshops that commence on Friday 29th August, 9.30-12 noon Paraparaumu Aquatic Centre. Get started and gain momentum on your writing project in a supportive, fun environment. All that is needed is an open mind, a notebook, and a pen. Course notes and refreshments are provided. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
