Have you been curious about Qi Gong?

Come and try a free seated session at the Paraparaumu Library on Monday 1st Sept at 2pm with Mayank of Wisdom and Meditation.

Qigong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow-flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind.

This session is part of the programme for Dying Matters Week. All session are free and you can just turn up.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
