At Ethos Energy Servicing, we provide a range of detailed and comprehensive heat pump servicing to ensure that your system is operating efficiently and safely, providing clean and breathable air while maximizing its lifespan. Here are some of the key features of our services:
Indoor Unit Cleaning:
- Disassemble casing to access heat exchange/coil, fan blade, and other components
- Use hospital-grade coil cleaners to soak the unit for 10 minutes
- Low-pressure wash to remove all microbes such as fungi, mould, and skin
- Disinfect and clean the drip tray and drain hose
Outdoor Unit Cleaning:
- Disassemble the casing to access the heat exchange, drip tray, fan blade, and other components
- Remove debris from the drip tray and heat exchange
- Low-pressure wash with specialised HVAC cleaning products
- Apply silicone treatment and rust treatment where needed
Electrical Service:
- Check cable connections
- Add cable lugs where needed
- Check the isolator functionality and voltage
- Install new batteries in the controller
Heat Pump Functionality test:
- Perform air flow volume tests
- Check temperatures in relation to the controller versus airflow temp
- Make sure all features are working correctly
- Comprehensive functionality testing
Reporting:
- Provide a full report with descriptions and photos of the unit condition before and after service
- Provide a full schedule of dates for Ethos and onsite maintenance teams for commercial facilities

Landscape Builders
Hi Neighbors,
Just wanting to share a recent project we have completed for a really nice retired couple at Paraparaumu Beach. What made this project unique is that a lot of recycled materials were incorporated into the project, which kept in touch with the homeowners’ vision. We worked with them to create a tailor-made plan, and the results were amazing. We were grateful to be a part of this process.
Some highlights:
Custom bamboo planter box with inbuilt seats, creating a uniform structure with the deck. This is a lovely large structure which we are excited to see evolve as it gets planted out.
Custom garden shed built to meet the requirements of the high-wind/sea zone, but also clad with recycled palings. This was purposed as a planting and propagating shed, with polycarbonate roofing to allow natural light to enter.
