Thrifty Place Op Shop
The Thrifty Place op shop has re-opened for the year. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10.30 am to 1 pm. Come and visit us, we have so many bargains waiting for new home!
We sell quality used second hand items, including clothing, household items, toys and books and all are very reasonably priced. We are located at the Kapiti Uniting Parish (across the road from Raumati Beach School), 10 Weka Road in Raumati Beach.
We gratefully accept donations, please drop off during shop hours. Thank you to all our customers, those of you who donate to us and our volunteers, we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Free collection of broken chest freezer.
I have a chest freezer which is broken. I was wanting to know if there is anyone out there who does collection of white goods free.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
