Taking the super out of supermarket
Products are disappearing off the shelves as our supermarkets narrow the range of goods on offer. A food market duopoly has an obligation to offer us a range of manufacturers' goods, not just their own, sometimes inferior, products. Like Pams ice cream cones, so poorly made they crack when you add ice cream and you need to double up on the cones to use them. Great value, not. Crisp, fresh and strong cones are available at Bin Inn and Moore Wilsons for a similar price to the supermarket junk product.
ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED
Our grandson (20) recently moved to Kapiti from Taranaki and is looking for accommodation. Anything considered.
He describes himself as clean and tidy, friendly but a bit reserved and quiet.
I would add trustworthy and family orientated.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.6% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.4% ... It is complicated
