Thrifty Place Op Shop
The Thrifty Place op shop has re-opened for the year. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10.30 am to 1 pm. Come and visit us, we have so many bargains waiting for new home!
We sell quality used second hand items, including clothing, household items, toys and books and all are very reasonably priced. We are located at the Kapiti Uniting Parish, Raumati Church (across the road from Raumati Beach School), 10 Weka Road in Raumati Beach.
We gratefully accept donations, please drop off during shop hours. Thank you to all our customers, those of you who donate to us and our volunteers, we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
