Welcome to our First Weaving Workshop 2025
Join us and learn the art and knowledge of Weaving under the guidance of Tash from Awhi Mai Toi and Shona from Tuakana Teina RongoÄ

This is a beginnerās workshop to embrace the learnings of mahi Raranga.
No experience is required just bring an open mind to experience a touch of Te Ao MÄori in the following areas.
*Karakia- (prayer).
*Tikitanga -Whakapapa, PÅ«rÄkau (history ,stories) ā learn to connect a Wairua,a Tinana a Hineangaro.
*The first workshop you will learn about Harakeke and create beautiful Putiputi-(flowers) to take home.
*Materials supplied
*Wai rÄkau infused herbal tea and drinks ā provided by Shona Tuakana Teina Rongoa.
