Veggie Plants Waikanae and Otaki Markets This Weekend
Our seedlings are loving the warmth and rain we have been getting (not so much the wind!). They've really taken off and are in prime condition for planting out now.
Tomatoes from our later sowing are ready now. A good range of sizes and colours available, from tiny to the very large and plenty in between.
All our curcubits are racing away, so this weekend we are specialling kumi kumi, gherkins and crown pumpkin at $3 or two for $5.
We also have basil, zucchini, cucumber dwarf and climbing beans, peppers and chillis.
Scarlet runner beans will be ready from next week. Kumara by mid-December.
For those who missed out earlier, we have a limited supply of some favourite heirloom tomatoes such as Black Krim, Indigo Rose and Isle of Capri, as well as a range of cherry tomatoes, which should be ready in two weeks. Text me on 027 220 1355 for further information.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
