New development
Just wondering how many Kapiti residents are aware of a proposed major development at 240 Kapiti Road (horse paddock).
The proposal is for the construction of 135 medium density town houses & 165 car parks. See Kapiti Council website for plans & consent application. The developer in his application to Council has said the impact to all the surrounding areas will be 'minor'...hence their ability to have a very 'limited' notification process.
Whether you agree or disagree surely a major development of this kind should have been open to the wider community to have a say...especially as it will have a huge impact on such things as traffic on an already congested Kapiti Road, etc.
Hearing for limited notified resource consent will be held at Kapiti Council's library meeting room this Thursday & Friday 10/11 Nov 9.30am
Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
