Calling all Kapiti Coasters!
Join us for a night of fun - music, dancing, entertainment, raffles ............. and help raise funds for families in Ukraine.
Craig Christensen, solo artist, plus two local bands (Te Horo Beach Shed band & Brooklyns) are donating their time to entertain; Kapiti businesses have donated goods to raffle (win a hedge trimmer!!); & we will hear a little about life in Ukraine.
This is a low cost evening - entry is only $10pp + BYO drinks & eats (donations also welcome).
Please support this event at Te Horo Hall next Saturday night - bring some friends, have some fun, help those in need. The music will not stop, the dance floor will be open!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

84.5% Yes
