Waikanae Recycling Center: Public Meeting Called
We are calling a public meeting to address concerns regarding the closure of the Waikanae recycling center. Its on Sunday 11 July from 3 to 4.30 pm. at the Waikanae Beach Community Hall. There will be several speakers then the meeting will be opened up for questions and discussion. There will also be a petition circulating. Further details to come and watch for the flyer. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
