Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

UB40 Concert tonight

Kev from Peka Peka

I have 3 tickets available to the UB40 concert tonight which we can’t attend due to 2 of the 3 ticket holders being quite sick. We are gutted as we have been waiting for this concert for 7 months. The concert is at Wiatangi Park tonight . .$150.00 for the 3 Tickets which can be picked up at Croftdon Downs by Tawa this afternoon. Will just have to change the names on the tickets first as I understand, Call or text me 0274 481 305 If interested . Cheers Kev Reid .
