Our Native Tree Kindergarten!
A large part of Queen Elizabeth Park becoming native forest is one step closer. We’ve started restoration planting of 25ha thanks to a donation from the Maclean Trust. We’re controlling weeds like gorse, collecting seeds, planting and managing the toddle trees until they’re guaranteed to survive by themselves with our partner Groundtruth. Re-planting native species like this leads to significantly enhanced biodiversity and improved water quality in this part of the park.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
