Shop Assistant - Brooklyn
Do you love op shops and connecting with your local community? One of our member organisations is looking for volunteers to join their suburban Thrift and Gift store in Brooklyn. They are a not-for-profit store where the profits are donated quarterly to organisations in the local community. For this role, you will need a friendly nature and confidence in handling interactions and sales with customers. You will need to be prepared to pitch in to keep the shop tidy and you will be in charge of opening and closing the store, overseeing the floor throughout the shift and processing sales. Scam
Be aware when you answer the phone it could be a scam. Just had call on landline re visa credit card. I hung up before they got past first sentence!! Checked with the bank and it’s a scam call. Caller ID listed an Australian number! If it was genuine, they would have rung back. So far total silence!
