Do you need a builder?
My wife and I are just coming to the end of a comprehensive house renovation. Removing all ceiling and wall gib, insulating throughout regibbing, new electrics and plumbing, bifold doord onto a new deck, new wardrobes,......we have been living with a neighbour for almost 4 months (she deserves a medal) but it has been so woth it.
I have nothing but praise for Chris and Georgia Darby of Blueprint Projects and Construction. Chris has proved to be a hard working, talented, honest and thorough builder and project manager, Georgia has reported back on progress against budget on a regular basis as well as making many useful suggestions regarding design options - a very talented couple. I recommend their company without hesitation and reservation and would be very willing to discuss our experience more should the need arise.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
