Still looking for a long term rental to call home
I am hoping there is a guardian angel out there somewhere who has a long term rental available. My current rental is to be sold so I am looking for a two bedroom place that will be a long term tenancy agreement. I am a single 66 yr old female who has grandchildren to stay from time to time. I keep a clean and tidy place both inside and out and always pay my rent on time. I have good references available. As I have mobility issues it needs to have shower that is not over a bath, easy access as I use a walking frame and somewhere to keep my mobility scooter dry when I'm not using it. Heating needs to be either a Heat Pump or other efficient heating as I can not manage the wood required for a fire. Currently I live in Otaki but will consider anything between Raumati South and Otaki. Moving further South or North is out of the question
🧩😏 Riddle me this, Neighbours…
I am an odd number. Take away a letter and I become even. What number am I?

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
