Prepare your home for the Spring Selling Season

Matt from Matt Wineera - Thats Real Estate with Matt Wineera

Starting today you should be thinking about Spring being the best time to list your home for sale as most potential buyers tend to make their way out of the hibernation of the winter months.

Now is a good a time to look at the maintenance and repair items that need attention.
Make a list of the must-do items needed for a successful sale and those that are wish list items and ensure that you are working through the essential items prior to listing your home for sale.

Make time for repairs and maintenance now so that when it's Spring and time to list your home for sale and in front of interested potential buyers it can be the difference in the number of weeks that your home is on the market.

Inaction may result in negotiations on the final sale price.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
