Monk Fruit Sweetener
Monk fruit sweetener is made from the flesh of the Lo han guo fruit (also known as Buddha Fruit). The flesh is dried and powdered. The Chinese have been using it as a sweetener and natural remedy for years and call it the "longevity fruit". It is a natural sweetener, has no calories, and is high in a unique antioxidant called mogrosides. It is about 150 to 200 times sweeter than sugar and is an excellent replacement for sugar.
