The Sunset Coast Big Band is a local community band based in the heart of Waiuku and has been around for many years.
What is a Big Band?
"A big band is a type of musical ensemble that usually consists of ten or more musicians with four sections: saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section. Big bands originated in the early 1920s and dominated jazz until about 1950, though different kinds of bands, small and large, existed before and after that period. The fluid nature of jazz prevents precise definitions. Big bands started as accompaniment for dancing."

Hello every one, our office has a large number of used ring binders (some as new) which are going to go in a skip bin if I can not find homes for them. Please let me know if you could find a use for 1, 10 or 100. I would be devastated if they go to the tip.
Cheers Cynthia

I have had the beetle for over 5 years and she runs really well. Hill climbs are easy, so plenty of pull. Has some minor scratches and someone has slammed their door on the driver's side which I haven't repaired. I sold her last year to a gentleman from Sweden who travelled around the North and South Island for 3 months only to get her back again. There is no room in our drive which is the only reason I need to sell her again.
She has just been serviced by AA last week and is good to go. PM for more details.

We’re from the Institute of Criminology, Victoria University of Wellington. This research aims to understand our growing reliance on private security for protection against burglary and other crime and what this can tell us about perceptions of crime and policing and the changing ways we manage the risks of crime.
Neighbourly was chosen because of the keen interest of its members in ‘Crime and Safety’ and we hope this will translate into lots of Neighbourly members taking part and making a contribution. For much more detail about the project please read the PDF. We really appreciate your participation, thank-you.
