Bridge Lessons
Enjoy playing cards? Come and learn how to play the fascinating game of bridge. I’m running an afternoon block course of 5 daily lessons starting on Saturday 12th December through until Wednesday 16th December. This will be held at the Palmerston North Bridge Club on the corner of Cook and Cuba Sts from 1pm until 5pm. A total cost of $50 includes all materials and club membership for next year. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
