Bridge Lessons
Enjoy playing cards? Come and learn how to play the fascinating game of bridge. I’m running an afternoon block course of 5 daily lessons starting on Saturday 12th December through until Wednesday 16th December. This will be held at the Palmerston North Bridge Club on the corner of Cook and Cuba Sts from 1pm until 5pm. A total cost of $50 includes all materials and club membership for next year. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
