To all those who tooted and waved at the teacher strikers on Fitzherbert bridge this morning, a big thank you. It means a lot to us to know you support us.
Mostly it is about making the profession more appealing for young people as we are an ageing workforce. We need to attract young, good teachers to stay teaching.
