Become an Amateur Radio Operator
The Manawatu Amateur Radio Society is running 11 weekly beginners classes starting in May culminating in a weekend activity in August where participants can sit their Amateur Radio Operators Certificate which consists of 60 multi-choice questions. Amateur Radio is now a fast growing field of communications which encompasses tradition radio communications through to computer based digital, micro-computers and satellite communications - there is something for everyone interested in electronics, communications and technology in general.
