Parenting programmes at Parentline Manawatu

Raewyn Persson from Parentline Manawatu

We're now taking registrations from people interested in attending our Term 3 programmes - do contact us on 08004326459 (freecalling) to register. We can also provide you with referral forms for the Incredible Years (and talk with you about eligibility) which has an entry point in August and goes over 14 weeks. Parenting through Separation programmes are also provided here over two weeknight evenings (once a month). Triple P for parents of teens looks quite full for next term but let us know if you're wanting to attend. Check out our website and feel free to contact us through there if that suits you. We could also be providing some Triple P discussion groups and the Anxiety workshop that we do for parents from time to time. Counselling is also available for those of you looking for some 1:1 support. This is no cost/low cost and by appointment.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
