Feilding Little Theatre back in show business after three years of uncertainty

Matthew Dallas Reporter from Feilding-Rangitīkei Herald

Hi neighbours,

There is excitement that drama will soon be back on stage at Feilding Little Theatre instead of surrounding the building itself.

The curtain at the historic venue is set to rise for the first time since it was closed in March 2021 due to a structural fault.

With the building now getting a tick from the engineers, audiences will be welcomed back next week for one-man WWI monologue Stretcher Bearer.

Joan Ford, a member of the Little Theatre Players and the theatre’s building committee, spoke to us about the troupe's communal culture, and the involvement of families and school children through the years.

Do you have a treasured memory or favourite production at the little theatre from years gone by?
