It goes. It makes coffee.
Only issue is that I think the pump doesn't have enough pressure due to a loose pipe (you can hear a slight hiss) because of this, you need to rotate the dial to "off" and back to coffee mode once or twice to make a shot of coffee.

I have bought a bag of grochem cm spirals nz.grochem.com... but have more than I will need. They will store, sealed, in a fridge. $0.65 for each spiral + p&p ($5.00).
