I run a programme of well structured, topic-based classes and workshops for a wide range of abilities, from beginner to experienced artist. There is congestion into Wellington City this morning due to the presence of eight Restore Passenger Rail protesters who are blocking lanes. These disruptions are on Wellington's SH1 near the Terrace Tunnel.

Waka Kotahi said Wellington's Terrace Tunnel is closed to traffic heading southbound, and warned commuters to "expect delays". Northbound lanes near the tunnel are partially blocked and moving slowly.

It's been said that a protester has glued their hands to the road and is needing assistance to be removed.

"Police advise motorists to avoid the area and expect delays."
