Lunchtime Concert, Wednesday 16th August
The weekly lunchtime concerts continue with singers Renata Toth (soprano), Sara Binnie (soprano) and Kati Lemcke accompanied on piano by Janey MacKenzie will present a programme of solos and duests including favourites from the worlds of Musical Theatre, Sacred Music and German Lied.
Renata is an experienced chorister who started singing in her native Hingary and has sung in choirs in several other countries. Sara started singing in a choir at 11 and has sung continuously in choirs in New Plymouth ever since. Both are members of Ars Nova and the Madrigal Companie. Janey recently moved from Wellington to New Plymouth and is a singing teacher.
The concert is at the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church), this Wednesday 16th August at 12.15 pm.

Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
