Severe weather watch: Heavy rain and strong wind for central New Zealand
A heavy rain watch is in place for Mount Taranaki, Northwest Nelson, the Richmond Range and the Tararua Range. A strong wind watch is in place for Marlborough.
People are advised to keep up to date with the latest forecasts in case parts of this watch are upgraded to a full warning, or additional areas are added. Check the latest updates here.
