Taranaki Princess Ball
Calling all princesses of the land aged 2 and over! The Taranaki Princess Ball is to be held on Sunday, 4 May from 2.00pm - 3.30pm.
We invite you to dress up in your finest and come along to your very own ball. You shall feast from the fabulous afternoon tea banquet, add a touch of colour from the face painters, sparkle up your look with some temporary princess tatts, run amuck with your own balloon creation, mingle with a gorgeous princess or two and of course: dance the day away!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
