Lunchtime Concert Series, Friday 23 July, Rosene Spence (flute)

The lunchtime concerts at Whiteley Memorial Church continue this Friday at 12.15 with Rosene Spence playing flute. Rosene will be accompanied by Leon Paix on piano. Rosene started playing flute at 16 in New Plymouth and was principal flute and piccolo player with the Royal NZ Navy Band, performing throughout NZ for concerts and military functions. She has performed with chamber music ensembles and recently with the Taranaki Symphony Orchestra playing Vivaldi's piccolo concerto. She is studying flute with Professor Uwe Grodd and this year has begun a Postgraduate Diploma in Music.
A Koha will be appreciated. Relax and enjoy some lovely flute music. Tea, Coffee and cakes are also available.
