Hi everyone, I am posting this so that you can also be aware of an almost identity theft which I was an almost victim, a couple of weeks ago I received a credit card from Gem Visa, of which I did not request, on phoning them, they had my full name - my middle name is very unusual, Gem had some of my information, full name, address, they also had listed under my information was apparently (licence number, pay slip, and an email address with my name in it, but not my email address) The New Plymouth Police have been wonderful, and are tracking the email address which was on the original application, the Police said its possible someone was watching my mailbox, I was lucky I got to my mail first, so managed to stop this scam, Please be watchful.
