Christmas has come early for Taranaki residents. The Mt Messenger bypass in North Taranaki has been approved! The $200 million bypass will shorten journey times and increase safety. To read more about it, click here.

Lunchtime Concert, Janey Mackenzie & Fiona McCabe, Wed 9th October
Janey MacKenzie will be presenting a concert at the Methodist Centre on Wednesday 9th October at 12.15pm. Janey well known in Wellington as a singer, teacher and pianist has relocated to New Plymouth. She will be accompanied by another Wellington Icon, Fiona McCabe, both as singer and also solo pianist.
Their programme will be a couple of Handel Arias, several gorgeous French chansons and piano solo and some classic show songs to finish.
Taranaki Caledonian Pipe Band.
We are looking for new members either have played or want to learn the bagpipes or drums. We have a learners group starting on Wednesday 16th October at Lynmouth Park pavilion at 7pm. Will look forward to seeing you there. Check out our FB page
