The work was certainly well overdue as at least 3 of the steps had disappeared and the whole lot badly overgrown. I note however that the pedestrian counter is still overgrown. Previously it has recorded up to 40,000 people using the walkway per year. The repairs will be appreciated by all I am sure.

These letters will remain with you - we will just take a copy, which may then be published as part of our Anzac Day coverage. We aim to have about 25 to 30 letters from Taranaki.
