Galvin and Rivers Lunchtime Concert, Wednesday 22nd May

Marion Rivers and Peter Galvin will be performing at a lunchtime concert in the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church) this coming Wednesday starting at 12.15pm.
Between the two of them, they play a host of instruments including guitar, banjo, piano, accordion, ukulele, washboard, Northumberland pipes, Irish whistle and more. They are well known for their toe-tapping music when playing at different venues and occasions such as St. Paddy's Day, Germanic Beer Festivals, Farmers Market etc.

National Volunteer Week 16-22 June

This month we celebrate National Volunteer Week | Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu (16-22 June), where we take time to acknowledge the contribution of all the amazing volunteers in communities around Aotearoa. This year the theme is Weaving the People Together – Whiria te Tangata.

As an organisation, we are fortunate to have over 2,000 fantastic individuals giving their time, skills and kindness to provide the CAB service – weaving together our collective contributions to make a big difference in people’s lives!
