WATER METERS - INDIVIDUAL? FOR ALL PROPERTY USERS - YES!
There is a NPDC Strategic Projects Committee at the Council Chamber tomorrow Wed. 16/8/23, and they will be debating the cost of Installing Water Meter per Property.... They have already bust the Budget and so will not be able to install 100% of the Meters they Planned! They are also Months behind Schedule! They are also trying to 'push' you into agreeing to a Shared Meter where there is more than one Property eg Cross lease situations... Please do NOT be Bullied! They are using other Councils' data and it is not good! So stick to your principals and INSIST ON AN INDIVIDUAL WATER METER FOR YOUR USE ONLY! AND THEY CAN PAY FOR IT, SINCE WE PAY SO MUCH ALREADY, DON'T WE?? My Neighbour and I have agreed to do this, so we are ready and waiting .... Lunchtime Concert, "Westward", Wednesday July 10th, 12.15pm
The lunchtime concert at the Methodist Centre on Wednesday July 10th, features the Taranaki group "Westward". This comprises Deb Harding (vocals), Mike Harding (vocals & guitar), Lisa Dohig (vocals) and Ken Kowalchuk (vocals & bass). They enjoy singing folk music and songs about people and places. Songs from Ireland, Britain, NZ and even Alabama.
Songs of intrigue, inspiration, solace and celebration.
