A petition is circulating to get curtains added as part of the Healthy Homes Standards in the hopes of helping renters avoid living in cold, damp conditions. Do you think curtains should be mandatory for New Zealand homes?

And it's only for the next one. Where are they having it that it costs so much of our hard-earned tax money? It's unbelievable that an event is allocated so much money and even features in the budget. Surely $1m would be more than sufficient. I'd like to see the balance sheet. Education, health, housing all could spend that amount of money and make a difference to many people's lives.
An utter waste.
