Bus Route changes

Very concerned to see that the changes in Routes being looked at for Frankleigh Park, currently Route 5, will mean that there will no longer be buses going through Glenpark Avenue, this seems to me to be a real detriment to the people who live there.

It could be needed after a hospital stay or just as a little extra support for caregivers. Respite care ranges from a few days and even up to a few weeks. A loved one, who lives in their own home, will have their short respite stay in one of our village centres.

The contest involves 140 young musicians from 7 high schools performing in 35 chamber groups. Due to the large number of entries the … View moreThe annual Taranaki Chamber Music Contest for school chamber music groups will be held on Wednesday 5th June at the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church). The contest involves 140 young musicians from 7 high schools performing in 35 chamber groups. Due to the large number of entries the contest will be held in 3 separate sessions starting at 2pm, 4.30 pm and 7pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be entertained by some of Taranaki's top young musicians in instrumental and vocal ensembles. This is part of Chamber New Zealand's country wide competition and the winning group from Taranaki will then compete in regional semi finals in Auckland. Entry is free.
