The next lunchtime concert , Wednesday 6th August at the Methodist Centre features "Alma Brasileira". Playing 16 strings to explore a variety of traditional Brazilian music - running the gamut from the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim to colourful adaptations by Brazilian classical composers.
Dominique Blatti, Malcolm Alder and Paul Goodsell explore this diverse tapestry woven from Indigenous, African and European influences , with a rich history of regional styles and blending tradition and modernity.
