A special thankyou to our neighbours who have responded to our message 7 days ago.
While we are a small charity we are involved with over a 1000 families in New Plymouth every year who have been referred to us form a N.P. social agencies.
We are still in urgent need in particular; of beds (single, queen or doubles), washing machines, table and chairs or drawers. These items are collected from you and given out free of charge to families in need. If you have any house hold items that are clean with no rips, tears or stains, are surplus to your requirements and you want to donate, please call. We also have our Shop in Fitzroy if you want to donation small items like clothing or brick and bract items. We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
