Baroque Concert, Saturday 9th September
A recently formed Baroque Ensemble, "I Barocchi" from members of the Taranaki Symphony Orchestra, will be performing an exciting programme of Baroque Music. The concert will be at the Methodist Centre (Whiteley Memorial Church).
This concert also features a Harpsichord that has recently been refurbished and donated to the Taranaki Symphony Orchestra. The concert features works by Bach, Vivaldi, Corelli, Telemann & Arne. Led by Adam Jasinski, the concert also features a number of soloists: Ian Wong, Norine Dixon, Margarietha Gray (violins), John Barritt (harpsichord), Ingeborg Hawighorst (cello), Jocelyn Beath (flute) and Barbara Mitchell (recorder). Admission is by Koha, with complimentary tea and coffee available at interval.
